1. Rectangular "A" Channel valves in cylinder port plate for ease of inspection.

2. Lightweight piston has large bearing surface, and is sealed by two single piesce spap rings. Rod is threaded into piston, and locked with a recessed nut.

3. Large, unrestricted air passages save power by reducing air friction and publsation.

4. Generous water jacketing assures thorough, uniform cooling, eliminates "hot spots," and reduces cylinder distortion.

5. Full-floating metallic packing is self adjusting and assures best seal with minimum wear, packing boxes are efficiently water jacketed.

6. Wiper rings remove crankcase oil from piston rod before it enters packing.

7. Generous opening in distance piecer allows access to packing and iol-wiper rings, and is sealed by gasketed covers.

8. Piston rod is threaded and locked into crosshead. One-piece aluminium crosshead.

9. Crosshead guide and crankcase are integrally Cast.

10. Die-forged steel connecting rod has rifle-drilled lubricating oil passage.

11. Frame is completely sealed by bolted, gasketed covers. No dirt can get in, no oil leaks out.

12. Large diameter crankshaft is a one-piece steel die forging, with ground and polished bearing journals and drilled oil passages.

13. Full-floating crankpin and main bearings are of special aluminium bearing alloy.

14. Low-level, screened suction prevents air binding and loss of oil pump prime.

15. Simple mounting saves installation cost.
